Yahoo Sandbox
With the Yahoo updation of its index on 20th July 2005and also changing their indexing algo, there are some rumors that now Yahoo also has a sandbox. (Previously, Only google was supposed to have sandbox).
I tested it for one week with one new site of mine, but I did not find it. So I cannot confirm it.
For those of you who don’t know what the sandbox effect is, sandbox effect is the name given to the algorithm which gives low priority (hence low ranking in SERPS) to new sites coming on internet. This waiting period may be from one month to 6 months.
